ABOUT MIKE MACK

Mike Mack is a singer and mulit-instrumentalist based  out of the Hudson Valley of New York State.  Offering musical services as a solo acoustic act, duo or trio ensembles, or full production bands in various genres , Mike Mack Music is a full service musical production company.  

BACKGROUND AND HISTORY

Mike Mack started his musical journey as a young child.  Coming from a musical family,  Mike grew up singing for school plays and assemblies, and picking up various instruments that were around the house.  As a teen, Mike began putting various bands together and started writing music.  At 16, he began performing professionally in an all original music band until the age of 19.  At 20, Mack started a Rage Against the Machine Tribute band called People of the Sun, that was a top draw at large music venues in the Northeastern part of the United States.  Throughout his tenure in People of the Sun, Mike was fortunate enough to do session work on a handful of WWE wrestling CD's and intro music.  People of the Sun still occasionally performs a few shows per year and is available for bookings.  

Once People of the Sun had run its full time course, Mike Mack co-founded the band Nuts in a Blender.  Nuts in a Blender was quite possibly the most successful cover/party band in the Hudson Valley, selling out venues for over 12 years.  Proud to have been sponsored by well known companies such as Budweiser and Jagermeister, NIAB were certainly the brand ambassador representatives, for those products,  in The Hudson Valley.  Mack helped make Nuts in a Blender a household name in the Hudson Valley and was an integral part in the networking of the business and the foundation of the musical product.  

After NIAB, Mike Mack formed the band The Hype to take the place of Nuts in a Blender as the "go to" party/event band in the Hudson Valley.  Along with Paul DalCero from the popular band Good n Loaded, they added members Kory Gancarz and Alan Affuso to round out the line up.  The Hype has performed hundreds of shows for night clubs, town municipalities, local fire and police organizations, local radio stations, colleges, as well as countless weddings and private events.  With music spanning 5 decades and covering genres from classic rock and disco, to country and rap, the Hype is versatile enough to adapt to any situation.  They have quickly become one of the highest requested acts in the Hudson Valley.  

ACOUSTIC

 Most recently , Mike Mack is probably most well known for his solo acoustic performances.  With well over 150 performances per year,  Mack has become one of the most booked solo acoustic acts in Hudson Valley.  Places you can find Mike performing are:
